Harima Announces Corporate Scent Image

Harima is pleased to announce the establishment of its first corporate scent.

Blending phytoncide-rich essential oils from Sakhalin firs with an array of complementary scents, such as lemon, rosemary, pine, fir and tea tree oils, Harima has created a fragrance reminiscent of lush green forests. Lemon essential oil in particular is said to have therapeutic benefits including easing certain symptoms in patients with dementia. Used in its business offices and facilities, this fragrance helps create an environment where employees can enjoy the relaxing properties of the ingredients.

A core component of the corporate essential oil, phytoncides are volatile substances emitted from plants and trees for self-protection against pathogens and insects, and are recognized to have insecticidal, antimicrobial and antifungal properties. Good for ambient deodorization, phytoncides have also been proven to have beneficial effects on human health.

Known for its exceptional air-purification, toxin-elimination properties, as well as its refreshing aroma, the Sakhalin fir was Harima's top choice for the development of its corporate scent.
