Harima is glad to announce it has received IATF 16949 certification for all its factories outside of Japan that manufacture electronic materials for automotive applications.

IATF 16949 defines the quality management system requirements for vehicle production, service and/or accessory parts, and aims at the continual improvement of products and services so as to prevent defects and reduce variation and waste in the supply chain.
IATF 16949 is used in tandem with various other ISO standards and provides guidance for companies that aim for continuous improvement of quality and customer satisfaction.
The certification is governed by the International Automotive Task Force, "a group of auto manufacturers and their respective National Automotive Industry Associations, formed to provide improved quality products to automotive customers worldwide".

Operating in various countries around the world, Harima has production plants that make electronic materials for vehicle applications in 4 locations, as follows:
Harimatec Czech (in the Czech Republic), Harimatec Hangzhou (in China), Harimatec Malaysia, and Harimatec (in USA).
All the above sites received IATF 16949, which means we can now better serve our business partners, based on internationally accepted criteria.
