Harima Chemicals is glad to announce an increase in production capacity at its core manufacturing hub, Kakogawa Plant, Japan. Production of nanoparticle dispersions will be increased 3-fold and trial operation will start in December 2020.

Harima's proprietary technologies allow for nanoparticles to disperse efficiently and enhance the properties of metal oxides and other compounds, resulting in dispersion liquids with a high degree of transparency and stability. In addition, these dispersions can be used as multi-functional coatings when combined with Harima's various binding agents. Having excellent optical properties, efficient shielding from ultraviolet and infrared rays, as well as coating augmentation, nanoparticle dispersions are also excellent candidates for a broad range of digital devices. With the recent increase in production capacity, Harima will be able to better meet these market needs and continue to contribute to the livelihood of people around the world.
